Jim Carmody joined Sell & Associates, Inc. in September of 2009.

Prior employment includes income producing lending at such financial institutions as Prudential Insurance, Mellon Financial Corp. Most recently, Jim was Regional Manager of the Phoenix commercial real estate lending office of a $12 billion bank. In this role, Jim structured financing for development, construction, and acquisition/renovation projects in Phoenix and Las Vegas.

Jim has 8 years’ experience with various appraisal firms, and has appraised all types of commercial properties. He has taken all courses required for the MAI designation.

Jim has served as President of the Arizona Commercial Mortgage Lenders Association. He holds Arizona real estate broker and mortgage broker licenses, and has previously held an Arizona certified general appraisal license.

Jim holds an MBA from the University of Missouri-St. Louis, and graduated cum laude from St. Louis University.
